Welcome Reception and Buffet
Royal Museum of Scotland, Chambers Street, Edinburgh
The Royal Museum is a magnificent Victorian building which houses international collections of Decorative Arts, Science and Industry, Archaeology and the Natural World. Some exhibits are millions of years old, others less than a decade. Together they reflect the diversity of life on Earth, and the ingenuity of humankind. A Welcome Reception and Buffet will be held from 19.00 – 23.00. Entertainment will be provided and the evening will be Scottish themed.

Edinburgh Sightseeing Bus Tour

Your STGA guide will bring Edinburgh’s history to life with facts and stories from the past. For the first time visitor the tour will present you with the essence of this historical city taking in Edinburgh’s New and Old Town’s, the new Scottish Parliament, Holyrood Palace and includes a visit to Edinburgh Castle. Cost is £26 per person, please book through the Conference Organisers.

A special evening for participants with accompanying friends or families and for anyone who is lonely!
There will be live entertainment including traditional Scottish highland and popular classical music and a pay bar. This event incorporates a reunion for Glasgow Travel Medicine Diploma students.

Conference Golf Challenge
